Terms of service
Plain-language terms for using ClaudeKit — a per-person license, no redistribution or resale of kit content, watermarked downloads, and a 14-day refund.
These are the terms for using ClaudeKit. We've written them in plain language. They are honest and short on purpose; if something is unclear, email hello@theclaudekit.com and we'll explain.
Last updated: June 10, 2026.
What you're buying
ClaudeKit sells licenses to use its kits — bundles of Claude Code agents, skills, and slash commands — through the ck CLI, private GitHub repositories, and watermarked downloads. You are buying the right to use this content, not ownership of it.
Your license
- Your license is per person. One license is for one individual to use across their own devices (up to the activation limit, 3 by default). It is not a team or organization license.
- You may use kit content in your own work — your projects, your clients' deliverables, the artifacts the kits produce for you.
- You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or share the kit content itself — the agents, skills, command definitions, or repository files. Sharing your license key or repo access with others is also a violation.
- Output you generate by running the kits is yours to use. The kit content that produced it remains licensed, not sold.
Watermarking
Downloads are personalized to your license — each zip carries a holder record and per-file markers tied to your account (see Licenses & activations). This lets us trace leaked content back to a source. Removing or tampering with watermarks is a breach of these terms.
Payments, plans, and refunds
- Plans and prices are described in Billing. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record — they handle checkout, tax, and invoices.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- We offer a 14-day refund policy. Email hello@theclaudekit.com within 14 days of purchase for a refund. On refund (or cancellation/chargeback), your license is revoked: you lose the right to install, update, and download, though files already on your machine are not deleted remotely.
Acceptable use
Don't use ClaudeKit to break the law, infringe others' rights, or generate content you don't have the rights to produce. VideoKit specifically only handles user-owned, royalty-free, or original compositions — see the VideoKit content policy. You are responsible for how you use the output.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep ClaudeKit available and the kits accurate, but the service is provided "as is," without warranty. We may update kits, prices, and these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
You can stop using ClaudeKit any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms — most commonly redistribution, resale, or watermark tampering.
